Since opening its first outlet in Singapore at Tiong Bahru Plaza in 2019, Japanese kaitensushi, or conveyor belt sushi, chain Sushiro has been rapidly expanding its presence here.
It currently has 10 restaurants islandwide (the Parkway Parade branch is temporarily closed due to the ongoing construction of the Marine Parade MRT station), but 8days learned that the brand is set to open another three outlets by August this year.
According to Sushiro, this marks the company's "most aggressive expansion move since its 2019 foray into the city-state".

SUSHIRO TASTE ORCHARD (OPENING APRIL 2024)
On Wednesday (Apr 24), Sushiro will soft open its 251-seat outlet at the new food and lifestyle enclave Taste Orchard. Located in the former OG Building along Orchard Road, the five-storey dining destination also houses a supermarket. Other than Taste Orchard, Sushiro has two other nearby outlets at Wisma Atria and Isetan Scotts.

OPENING PROMOTION FREE MERCHANDISE

SUSHIRO TAMPINES 1 (OPENING JULY 2024)
While Sushiro already has an outlet at Bedok Mall for Easties, there will be another new one at Tampines 1 mall. At 200 seats, the restaurant capacity is slightly smaller than the average outlet, but you will still get to enjoy the same menu.

SUSHIRO THOMSON PLAZA (OPENING AUGUST 2024)
Just a month after the opening of its Tampines 1 branch, the sushi chain is following up with an outlet at Thomson Plaza. The spacious eatery has 274 seats. The upcoming outlet is not to be confused with Japanese restaurant Omoté in the same mall, as it used to be named Sushiro before rebranding itself in 2019.
